We learned today that inflation has come back down to pre-pandemic levels, at a time when interest rates have fallen. That means it’s becoming more affordable to buy a home or a car, or to operate a small business.

This follows the news that on my watch the economy has grown more than 10%. That’s 3% more than expected. And incomes are up nearly $4,000 after adjusting for inflation. The economy, incomes, savings, and consumer spending are all stronger than previously estimated.
