🏭 Despite encouraging financial clients to phase out coal in 2019, the World Bank’s private sector arm - IFC - supported Java 9&10 via its client Hana Bank Indonesia.

When fully built, Java 9 and 10 will add 2000MW of new coal power and will release an estimated 250 million metric tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere over their 30-year lifespan.
