The global status of leopard sharks (Stegostoma tigrinum) was recently assessed by the IUCN Red List in 2023 & the latest update published just several days ago. The species remains #Endangered (EN) based on the A2bcd criteria. 👉🏼 Full assessment here: iucnredlist.org/species/41878/…


Hey Australian shark scientists, does anyone recognize these dart tags? Just found by a fish processor on a spinner (green) and tiger (yellow) shark. They are not ours (at least from my time in WA), could they be from the east coast? Colin Simpfendorfer what do you think?
