We went on a hunt to find some of the animals we would be meeting in our new book. We drew pictures and wrote a list to help us remember the animals we found!🐘🦒🐒🦁Millbrook Primary

Reception helped the animals find their missing tails. We searched around the school for the animals and matched the tails. We were able to name the animals and explain how we knew the tail matched. We began to wonder where in the world we would find these animals?Millbrook Primary

Reception had lots of fun digging for animal patterns in the sand and matching them to the animals. 😁 Millbrook Primary

Reception had lots of fun on our trip. We spotted African animals that we have been learning about in our topic work. We saw the vulture from 'The Ugly Five' story and we saw Gerald the Giraffe! He didn't dance for us, but he did want us to take his photo! Millbrook Primary

Exciting time in Reception today! We found a ‘treasure map’ and followed the directions. We went across, around, past, through and finally under in order to find our ‘treasure’. Rosie the hen had come to visit us! We didn’t expect a hen to be waiting for us!🐔🐓Millbrook Primary

We spent time looking at Rosie and then drew her picture. We are super artists in Reception!🎨 We enjoyed creating our ‘observational drawings’. Rosie agreeed they were just like her! 🐔Millbrook Primary
