Sinéad Farrelly a massive loss to Ireland. We had no player remotely near her ability and composure on the ball in midfield and that after not playing for years. After all she's been through, staying healthy and happy is key. She must have been some baller before the nightmare

The The Sunday Game - i’ll tell ye now, a 20 minute analysis of a match already shown live is not needed tonight-followed by a 30 second voiceover of the Carlow/Antrim matches. Don’t have usual analysts preach the Gaa need to grow the game and then not reward the counties efforts

Liam Cahill obviously doesn't read the Irish Examiner if he hasn't seen nor heard of Derek McGrath in the last 18 months. You'd think he'd not be settling scores and taking potshots after the embarrassing his Tipperary team got today

Could be an interesting role for Zach Tuohy in what may be his last season of a history-making AFL career. Known for his goals from distance (bombs) as a half-back, he got three today for Geelong against his former club Carlton, playing more forward.

It wasn't good by the starter but it's a scandal by the Sandown stewards to call Maasai Mara a starter. We can see clearly in shot the horse turning before we cut to the starter, so it wasn't a sudden manoeuvre as the flag dropped. Horror for connections; rip-off of punters

It's all systems go for Irish Grand National winner Intense Raffles, stepping up to Grade 1 level at the Punchestown Festival next week. Tom Gibney was a great host during the week, offering some fantastic insight and opinion The Irish Field

I'm blue in the face saying it. Derry weren't on it. If it were a horse race, you'd draw a line through it. Indeed, if it were a horse race, the handicapper would know well not to drop their rating one iota

🙌Couldn't have said it better ourselves.

Ben Pauling Racing gets it. The importance of UK runners at Punchestown is paramount and the new blood-stock.com €80,000 Full Circle Final is a brilliant opportunity for owners.

Bring it on.
