There are 4 million cows in the UK producing 1.2 tonnes of carbon a year, that's 5 million tonnes. An average car produces 150 grams of carbon per kilometre, at an average of 15000 kilometres a year that is around 2 tonnes per car. 30 million cars in the uk = 60 million tonnes
