What a great day today University of Zurich at the Science and Nature festival teaching people from young to old how interesting, cool and so close aquatic biodiversity can be! 🐚🦐🐸 Judging by the number of happy faces, wet boots and critters collected, people seemed to enjoy it a lot!

Great field day with Francesca Cerroti! For her project, we sampled water-filled tree holes and looked at the #bugs inhabiting these interesting #ecosystems! Stay tuned for her super cool first results soon! 🤩

Last Tuesday, together with colleagues from Eawag & WSL Umweltforschung @wslresearch.bsky.social, I had the pleasure to attend and the honour to moderate the #BGBInitiative final conference. This was a great opportunity to once again hear about everything that #BlueGreenBiodiversity has achieved 1/2
