Nah, I definitely check people's bank balance before I hold the door open for them. I ask for proof of balance with a call to their bank or in writing, signed by 2 witnesses and I match the name to photo ID and THEN I hold the door. It takes a bit of time but I have standards. 🤣

If you died with partially written manuscripts/drafts, would you want your family to find someone else to fix them up/complete them and publish them or share them with friends, or would you want them to destroy them? Would you want them to even read them?

Do you really think a story can be written in 3 words or 6 words or whatever these tiny flash fictions ask? Or are they more like captions or ideas, and people have started calling them stories?

Do you find many people in 'the real world' ie off social media tell you they are writers once you've said you're one? I've found quite a few people tell me they write, different stuff. Poetry, plays, romance, fantasy, action. It's great to see how many are out there.

I found out today that I was longlisted for a Pitch competition for a children's book. However I didn't make the cut for the shortlist. 😢 I still love my manuscript. It will be published some day and I hope you'll love it too.
