I posted this poll yesterday following the debate after the awful #HainaultAttack

I asked the question as to whether officers should be routinely armed.

I am surprised by the response. Currently 68% saying yes to routine arming.

Few hours left, but probs will stay at yes.

Following events of yesterday, these are just some of my 'collection' and of course many police acts of bravery will never see the light of day; sadly, all too often we see officers 'collectively smeared' as happened on Sunday.

Didn’t know I’d have to say this but please don’t share the video of a dead child from today’s attack. Maybe give them some dignity and don’t display them for the world to see?

There’s a significant amount of discussion suggesting we should be armed, obviously following the awful incident in London.

Mixed feelings about it. Had this debate many times.

Would you want a firearm on response?

With everything that comes with it?

How many children have to be murdered before we accept the need to get a grip on crime?

Invest in policing, prisons and probation and stop undermining these institutions.

Build more prisons.
