Realistic Poetry Poetry isn't always sad
sometimes it's happy
sometimes it's snappy
verse or prose
one thing's for sure
it always fulfills it's purpose...
Realistic Poetry Defeated by half-measures
Complicit in the carnage,
Collaborating with the aggressor,
Defeated by half-measures,
The choices of their friends…
Two years too long to wait,
For clarity, for commitment,
Language of victory, of triumph,
Still hesitant on their lips……
Realistic Poetry Each of us is the residue
Of our descendents,
Phoenix rising from their ashes
Riding higher into the looming sky.
Not only farther above the shrinking earth
But in the quality of the questions
As to why.
Realistic Poetry Flowers spruce forward from the soil
Blooms certainly in its authenticity shills
Grows freely to nature from gardens
Ground blending to providing color, smoothness
Gives full texture as to the pleasure rising
Raised as to much like to plants
Forging in the yards to course
When we are connected with life, we are life and then our very existence is inspiration.
