As we see police in dozens of cities beating philosophy professors, tackling economics scholars, body slamming Fox camera people, and putting chains on 100s of students singing songs and enjoying seder, it's important to see that these are not a few bad apples.

Just logging on and I’m not sure who tf has had the gall to make this absurdly insulting comparison, but as one of those organizers against the Nazis in Charlottesville, I can safely say that I/we are definitely organizing to stop the genocide and for a free Palestine.

Very often when it comes to dangerous surveillance tech, people talk about policies (or lack thereof) like they are the problem.

The tech itself is the problem.

Surveillance technology entrenches power, facilitates abuse, and creates obstacles to oversight.

NYPD is currently mass arresting Columbia University student protesters & loading them onto buses. Pro-Palestine protesters outside the campus are cheering for them & chanting.
