so much of the shit we “had” to return to is based on consumption like people feel like they’re entitled to be entertained, served, etc. we as the entertainers and servers should push back on that cause nobody is entitled to shit

Every person on Earth is lessened by the scenes at Al Shifa, whether they know it or not. What it means to be human has been tainted, sullied—a “crime against humanity.” We didn’t stop it and now we all stand in its long shadow. I’m ashamed that something like me could do this.

Less infections at these events mean less infections brought back to their families and communities. I personally can’t stop people from going. But in some cases I can encourage people and venues to be safer. So I will do that.

This is a thread about how musicians and artists need income and safety, how children exist everywhere in public, and how we need clean air everywhere. I haven't been to a concert since the pandemic started. Infections that start at concerts are driving the pandemic. ?????

people who were once filled with life ... now torn, mashed into the ground, bodies in various stages of decomposition, some mostly skeletons ... some barely recognizable as bodies, like melted puddles ... there is no forgiveness possible ... double your determination

the disconnect people here have with human suffering is so scary and pervasive and i dunno how much more of it i can take i just don’t know how to engage with people anymore

i don’t know what the value of your relatively safe life is if you are not totally distraught by what we are being shown from gaza. i don’t understand what you live for at all… is it just to buy things? to try a restaurant you saw on tik tok?

Maybe you don’t care what happens to you but statistically it’ll happen to your friends, loved ones, etc and those ppl will know what you think of protecting their lives. Y’all are setting yourselves up for communities that will abandon you and you’re doing it with an attitude.

the images coming out of al shifa hospital are some of the worst I’ve ever seen as a Palestinian. bodies in stages of decomposition and skeletons crushed by bulldozers. human remains mangled and charred. this is what our tax dollars go towards.

Alabama just intro'd a ban on interstate abortion travel for minors.
