inkwell is a generative world-building engine... community wishes become playable characters, items, and environments that feed into an adaptive mmo. but you can access any of that content via api for your own games too. this is the early stages of the world editor.

added chat, inventories and property panels for entities. the game now shows portraits, names, health and you can pick up items & drop them. this will lay the foundation for "ai personas" interacting in the world. i also created a "palette" for the "inkwell" biome.

Retro Diffusion tilesets are fully supported in Hugo Duprez's Sprite Fusion, with auto-tiling already set up for you! Way easier program to use for this than Aseprite or even Tilesetter, makes creating and exporting maps for game engines super simple.

i added a "link" type to scenery... it turns inkwell rooms into a sort of memory palace...? a collaborative workspace? a link in bio page? an interactive tutorial? or... you can link to mini-games hidden throughout the space.

We've been working on a new walking animation model that allows for way better image reference following, and better variations in non-human characters! Everything is still bipedal, but you can get a lot more coherent 'weird' characters, which is awesome!
