My career journey started with my biology degree in pharmacology before starting my post grad in dietetics. Then 16 years later back to studying pharmacology as part of my Non Medical Prescribing course. Still love the subject. Now delighted to be part of the BDA_Prescribers

My dietetic career began as senior II community dietitian in NHS GGC under Michelle Wardrop amazing guidance and mentorship. I've never looked back or regretted starting in the community, and I still think it is the best fit for me #DW2024

Many things to celebrate but being part of this strong and amazing group to advance dietetic prescribing is amazing! Meeting then in Birmingham in March was a highlight for me 🎉🥳 British Dietetic Association #DW2024

I didn't want to pin my uni education to a profession when I left school. I opted for biochemistry University of Glasgow that evolved to a pharmacology degree. This kept my options open. Going straight to my PG dietetics it was a fantastic foundation to the course and now my career #DW2024

My pinnacle is now and my current roles. The 3 parts of my post as team lead, prescribing advisor and NMP combined with my GI clinic is a perfect blend. No two days are the same and get to work with amazing teams and have great support from Fiona Struthers #DW2024
