We asked, you said,we listened, and we will persue a solution for a new school at The Priory. This is what SCC should be saying, not the nonsense outlined in the Agenda Reports Pack

In my opinion, the only way to convince SCC that the best solution is at the existing site,is to prevent them getting planning permission at Woodhatch Place. Please email RBBC councillors and leader requesting they use all means at their disposal to achieve this.

Why have SCC not complied with the terms of their Priory Lease and maintained the buildings in good order? Answer : They are £1.3 billion pounds in debt and rising .

Thames Water have confirmed in their letter dated 29/07/2024 that the existing foul and surface water sewers have insufficient capacity for the proposed Woodhatch Place school! This could have been established two years ago. The existing RPS site however, appears to function well.

The Reigate community should demand a public broadcasted meeting between SCC and RBBC to solely discuss the redevelopment opportunities at The Priory. This would undoubtedly prove beyond doubt that the school can remain in the perfect location

SCC have spent £2.417 million on the Woodhatch school proposal to date, and they have no idea of the estimated costs for completing the project! This is insane! Get your planning objections in now.

SCC -‘Surrey is home to amazing wildlife and beautiful landscapes. This nature is vital in contributing to our health, well-being, and sense of place. Like the rest of the UK, Surrey's nature needs our help to maintain and build its biodiversity’. Agreed,so abort RPS relocation.

There are interesting letters of objection to RPS relocation on RBBC,s planning portal. Worth the time to read and if you haven’t made representations, there is still time.

ISG who was SCC’s chosen contractor to design and build the new school at Woodhatch Place have gone bust! I guess the £1 m plus they have been paid to date is down the drain!

A ‘brownfield’ development opportunity exists at The Priory by replacing 1950’s buildings with a 21st century DfE compliant school. SCC however believe it is better to destroy the historic RBBC protected garden and woodland at Woodhatch Place. Please oppose this stupidity.

Well done to The Reigate Business Guild for objecting to the RPS relocation to Woodhatch Place. SCC have a duty to listen to the community it represents and act accordingly.

surreysays.co.uk/iai/budget-202… Stop spending our money on a flawed school proposal for Woodhatch Place! You have already wasted £2.4 million on fees,in addition to £60 million on the site
