The markets are telling us that nobody is taking Trump seriously anymore. A 50% tariff on trade between Europe and the USA would do incredible damage. But everybody knows that he is going to cave again and give it up. Which is why the markets are only barely dropping today.

I have been firmly against too much immigration to Europe long before it was cool. It causes big problems. But I also think people like Vance, Musk, and their fans should fix their own problems instead of being obsessed with a narrative that Europe is about to collapse.
