Excellent documentary about Hughes Pub on Chancery St was shown on TG4 last night. The pub was a hub for traditional musicians in Dublin and closed in 2021. Hughes’s also operated as an early house, opening at 7am to serve traders from Smithfield and the nearby fruit market.
