Raquis Holmes had a nice day at the plate yesterday, going 4-for-7 with a hard-hit double to the backside gap. Trace Payne had three hits on the day with a double, @C_Hicks11 had a pair of doubles, and Elisha Graves went 2-for-3 in the second game. Bats are coming along.

Tigers open up Region 3-6A play with an 8-5 victory over Evans! Chris Burney earned the victory with 5 strong innings, adding a 3-run HR. Raquis Holmes earned the save. Back at it Friday for a 4:00 DH at Evans.

Raquis Holmes finished his last start with a bang. The senior went 5 2/3 innings, only allowing 3 runs and struck out 12 hitters. We couldn’t finish for him, but Raq deserves a tip of the cap for his performance.
