Here is to #ZeroHunger ! I had the privilege of meeting children and inspiring mothers in Aley #Lebanon who volunteer in a WFP-supported school kitchen. Their dedication to providing nutritious meals was heartening. We went from 10,000 to 100,000 children in 185 public schools.

But here is some good news: a shipment of 7,600 tonnes of wheat flour from #Ukraine just arrived! This will help World Food Programme support the most vulnerable families.

I just announced an additional $53M in urgently needed humanitarian assistance for the people of Gaza & the West Bank to help scale up critical food, water, shelter, & hygiene items. Still, far more needs to be done to increase aid workers' ability to deliver this lifesaving aid.
