In #Malawi, WHO African Region supported in training 35 public health specialists from Human, Animal and Environmental health sectors on Epidemic Intelligence from Open Sources (EIOS) This is a critical in boosting surveillance system for early detection of public health threats.
In line with World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines Ministry of Health, Malawi has convened a National After Action Review (AAR) of the recent #Cholera outbreak. The AAR compiles experiences from all 29 health districts in Malawi to develop best practices to support preparedness & management of health emergencies
