We cannot thank Nigel enough for this fantastic gesture and also RamsbottomCC for all their support as always. The story is a great example of the kindness and goodwill within Ramsbottom throughout the ages which we have seen time and time again since beginning the pantry 💖
It was fantastic to welcome Labour’s shadow Work and Pensions secretary Jonathan Ashworth alongside James Frith MP & Clare Cummins 💙 down to the pantry today to show them all that we do to help the Ramsbottom community. Thank you for your visit. 🌹💖
The pandemic has shone on a light on sharpe inequalities & desperate insecurities in the economy. Covid knocked so many off a tightrope. The Universal Credit cut is a real hammer blow. Yesterday I visited two food banks in Bury with James Frith MP to hear people’s real stories.
Please donate to a local foodbank for Christmas. Yesterday I took Labour’s Jonathan Ashworth to see for himself the brilliant work being done by volunteers across Bury to help those most in need. Poverty is not inevitable. fb.watch/9WKMACNK04/
