My 4th graders had an amazing time dissecting owl pellets this week. Such a great hands on learning opportunity for food chains. Thankful that our amazing Minnieville Elementary principal Deborah Ellis supports all of our “ideas” to do with our students.

My class this year has insistently asked me who my favorite student is. So, I couldn’t resist borrowing this idea from TikTok. After each student saw their reflection I told them why they were my favorite. The hugs and tears of love from the students made my day. Minnieville Elementary

It would be easy to spend the last days of school letting my class play Minecraft for Education. But, they can do that all summer long. So, instead we get creative. Yesterday they designed water slides. Today we tested the slides out! #becreative Minnieville Elementary

In lieu of an “icebreaker” to launch the new school year..think about having each grade or team in your building have time to share, put their accomplishments together, share them with colleagues, students, parents and the community. Would celebrate teacher voice !

Watching some Minnieville Elementary students SOAR on the soccer field today! A couple of 3rd grade besties faced off against one another and there was some great sportsmanship on the field. Mr. Davis you would have been so proud!
