The Town of Ramapo Police announces an arrest for attempted murder in the stabbing incident that occurred this past Thursday evening. See attached press release.

We send our sympathy to Memphis Police Dept & to the family of PO Joseph McKinney. PO McKinney was shot and killed while serving his community. Two other officers were shot & wounded. We pray for their complete recovery and the safety for all who serve in law enforcement.

The United States Geological Service (USGS) is reporting an earthquake in the area of Northern New Jersey, that was felt in our area of Rockland County, New York. Please only call 911 if you have an emergency.

Last night, RPD responded to a call for a found dog. This dog was found in the backyard of a residence on Pauline Ct in the Hillcrest section of the Town of Ramapo.
