Methotrexate treats serious conditions. It comes as 2.5mg & 10mg strength tablets, taken WEEKLY. MHRAgovuk advises to reduce dosing errors by only prescribing 2.5 mg tabs. The Pharmacy team NHS North East London has worked to reduce prescribing of the high strength tablets. #pharmacy24

Opioids are v good for pain at the end of life and acutely, but there's little evidence that they help with longterm pain. Risk of harm increases at high doses of morphine, with no increased benefit; Across primary care, we are decreasing our high-dose opiate use #Pharmacy24
