Characterizing interactions with lipids in complex membranes just got easier: doi.org/10.1002/chem.2… We show how to purify 13C15N biological phospholipids and investigate their interactions using solid-state NMR. Nice job @RoyVanBeekveld, Markus Weingarth ;).

A new approach using 13C-labelled lipids enables to study how 💊 drugs/antibiotics specially interact with traces of lipids (~5 %) like PG or CL in complex membranes. Nice work @RoyVanBeekveld Maik Derks ! Works also for proteins - lipids interactions (--> soon) #NMR #lipids
