What a lovey day to travel from BHM to EDB with CrossCountry Trains to see my colleagues in Scotland

Not the day I had planned. A meeting at Kings Cross turned into a round (vaguely triangular, actually) trip from Birmingham to Euston to Kings Cross to York to Birmingham. All in a chaplain's day!

47 years ago today, there were 2 significant events. The hot summer of 76 ended. Sue and I got married.
