The Delhi Gymkhana -an architectural anachronism where time seems to be captive, the live music crooner belting out good ol' numbers, spontaneous dancers doing the ballroom, amidst the loud chatter of nostalgia. My strawberry daiquiri spirited as the elderly gentry in the bar!

Approaching Delhi levels now. My mind is blown. Overnight marination made these unbelievably tender.

Just a few random retro feels with great light and effect.

I won two Laadli awards for my Scroll.in reports on the Manipur ethnic conflict. Extremely special because these were my very first stories as an independent journalist (!) and by far, the most challenging in my 6 years covering the north-east.

American editors are often seen as more interventionist, actively shaping the manuscript with detailed edits. British editors, by contrast, are thought to take a lighter approach, preserving the author’s original voice while making subtler adjustments.

In a country full of 'vigilantes'- it's not like it's a choice but cows over women... Sad! #travesty

I see a lot of retired women workforce joining language upskilling courses for personal rather than professional mobility - visiting family abroad, meeting kids' friends, and a personal commitment - a gladdening change of a focus on self. Self-love, albeit belated. More power.
