Today is World Turtle Day, and there's happy news in the #FloridaKeys ! The The Turtle Hospital released a rescued green sea turtle in Key West. Found floating trapped in a beach chair, the turtle was saved by a boater & the U.S. Coast Guard. After treatment, 'Rijen' is back in the wild!

This made me laugh way too hard. 😀

I'm really glad I decided on a 7 Mile Bridge summer! Researching it is very interesting. Here's a shot of our girl in 1960!!!

Today, I met (rescued) some of the Florida Keys finest crabby crabs. Only one of them tried to pinch me. I count that as a banner day. Two out of three is not bad. 🦀

Yesterday’s storm threw a pane of glass from the second story into a pool. It was my duty to make the pool safe for the renters. Thankfully, the pool is now safe for the wee tots (and their parents) to swim in. Not bad for a day off. Now, it’s finally time to relax.
