Ok so my take is I think Aprilia deserve to be messed about a bit as they’ve done enough of it to people in the past a’la Redding, Lowes etc. I hope Martin comes back fast, & has a good feel for the bike. He clearly had a big money offer from Honda but couldn’t get out.

I was quite surprised he didn’t just dig in & go for an 8.5 second gap. I don’t think we’ve seen many races where he has risked it all to go Uber fast. Imagine if he’s won the title & can then crack on without fear? I said he’d smoke them all. Could still go wrong but unlikely…

Pecco 2024 crashed his brains out! At this point in the standings last year Pecco had 238 points. This year he has 213 points. So not a massive difference year on year. He was more consistent at the start of 25. Marc has 381 points! 24/25. The result would still be the same!

Used to love going for a bimble on the motorbike doing stuff exactly like this but the weather (which annoyingly has been good this year) other traffic, busy roads on Sundays, traffic cameras etc all spoiled it. So I gave up & started playing golf & haven’t looked back since!

Completely bang on that statement. Couldn’t have put it better myself. Those who say the GP25 is a fundamentally different bike from the 24 are the same people who insisted the GP23 was the same bike as the GP24!
