On Wednesday the children named the new(ish) park of Goyt Valley Road, the name they chose was ‘The Ends’. Huge shout out to Angie who put loads of work into this and to Louise who did lots of running around on the day :)

It’s been a cracking final week of the summer recess. This week I:

During the summer, SUEZ UK put school uniform bins in their Stockport recycling centres and yesterday they delivered us 82kg of preloved uniform!! Thank you Suez!!! #fromprelovedtoreloved

We had a lovely morning at the MP’s prayer breakfast. The churches in this area do amazing work in the community and it was great to hear more about it! What a blessing!! Thank you All Saints' Marple letting me steal the leftovers for the foodbank and warm space :) Lisa Smart MP

We were just finishing the surgery this morning when we spotted the lovely Nicki hanging the WI’s Remembrance display. Fabulous work ladies :)

Today we were excited to be part of the Stockport CAN summit, leading a circular communities workshop alongside Manchester Metropolitan Uni and the CAN team. Thank you to everyone who’s helped us get this far including Merseyway Everllence and Stockport Council :)

Today we came together once again to remember those who gave everything for our freedom. I thought of my dad, his stories, and the heroes whose courage shaped our world. Lest we forget. ❤️

The annual prayer breakfast is one of my yearly highlights, people from different walks of life coming together to pray for their community! Thank you to Adrian and the team at REACH for organising this brilliant event.

Tonight our kids made Christmas cards for our volunteers :) THE HOLIDAYS ARE COMINGGG 🎄🤶🎅

With Bonnie, our wonderful rescue dog, I always have a reminder at home of the impact that fireworks can have on pets, and how important it is that we get it right on fireworks legislation.
