Walking through the Enslaved Africans' Rain Garden in Yonkers, I was moved by the stories of New York's first freed enslaved people. Celebrating Juneteenth serves as a reminder that resilience is a call to action in our ongoing fight for justice, equity, and inclusion.

Lights, camera, action! This week, I toured lionsgate studios in Yonkers, joined by IATSE // #IASolidarity Local 52, and saw firsthand how the film & TV tax credit is making production more affordable. This creates more jobs while solidifying NYS as a key player in the entertainment industry.
