These terminal patients are left to be paralyzed from pain because of an overblown fear of addiction. This is also happening in the US and it's pathetic. Humanity and common sense no longer exists for those pushing this BS.

Back from social media break with a study that is unlikely to show what it claims. Very little control of demand characteristics yet they declare “the study’s results are consistent with Bayesian brain hypothesis”that expectations affect pain. BS! In the control group 31.58%

People always think disabled people are faking when they see them using mobility aids one day and then not the next. Why do you not always wear your glasses? A walking stick when you hike? Crutches when you injure yourself? Braces during sports but not outside of that? Exactly.

THE GOLDEN RULE (for all you narcissistic physicians out there): "The golden rule of pain management is simple: treat the pain. This principle is based on the idea that pain is what the patient says it is. It's not something that always needs to be proven before it is managed."

Notice how this works as far as doctors & the Feds. When other doctors & citizens fight back publicly, the Feds back down. The scapegoating of med pros is political theatre and if the pain pt community had this kind of support, our doctors would cease to be political prisoners.

Life Is Art Carrie🐦‍⬛🔥 Research shows it takes 3.5% of a population to change a policy. If we could find our 3.5%, get the, trained, mobilized, and accurate with their history and facts, we could prevail here.

We deserve a world where health isn’t rationed, care isn’t contingent, survival isn’t means-tested &life is not valued statistically—We deserve infrastructures built around life, not abandonment—We won’t get there by politely debating actuarial projections w capitalist parasites

Drugs aren't something 'Others' do. We all use drugs! And some of the drugs that are legal to use are far more harmful than most prohibited drugs. It's all wrong - our drug laws are not based on science. We need to legally and responsibly regulate the lot and do it properly.

Your illness is not a business opportunity. Your pain not a profit margin. The healthcare system is a machine of organized abandonment—an engine of extraction dressed as care. We will not fix it with more “choice.” We will fix it by ending the rule of capital over life.

this guy thinks he’s had an original smart thought & doesn’t realize he’s just regurgitating the World Bank’s 1993 report Investing in Health: “health as a private responsibility & health care as a private good”—they fear universal care because they know it threatens capitalism.

Anyone who steps forward knows that patients with long term pain, who happen to be receiving prescribed opioids- appropriately- are *being abandoned, *losing docs with no one willing to step forward to help them *facing extraordinary suffering, up to and including death from

Reading this in the context of all the communication I’ve read from this excellent physician over time, I can see that in the course of his study he has been learning just EXACTLY the multitude dark frightening truths we’ve all been screaming into the void these years.
