Congratulations Ethan! Ethan participated in Skye’s first ever FIreSkills course so it’s brilliant to see him join his local on-call fire station!

1st day on the run for our new recruit and his first callout. Turned out to be a false alarm but Ethan was ready and eager to go.

Our first wild fire of the year was a good first call for our new recruit.

Ethan participated in the first ever FireSkills course in Skye as a pupil at Portree High School and went on to join his local on-call fire station! Congrats on your first shout Ethan! 👏🏻

Tonight we had a pump from open water drill. Setting up in an awkward location for practice then using various branch techniques to extinguish our 'fire'.

Combined drills with pumps and ladders for the team last night. Always good to get out on these sunny evenings.

It's a nice night for some water awareness.
