Aspiration pneumonia ➡️pathogenesis, risk factors and management ⭐ Not every aspiration event leads to pneumonia (can be chemical pneumonitis only) ⭐ Consider observation (i.e. no antibiotics) if mild illness and clear CXR ⭐ Anaerobic coverage not needed unless necrotizing
