If GTA6 is delayed until 2026… then it gets delayed. Rockstar won’t do it just to get a reaction out of fans, they’ll do it to ensure that their biggest title, if not gaming’s biggest title, is fully polished and the best it can be. That being said, it’s just too early to tell.

Grand Theft Auto V was released 11 years ago today, the most recent entry in the Grand Theft Auto series. GTA6 is due for release in 2025.

A leftover metadata file indicates Rockstar has been working on a Gen9 version of #GTAV for PC since earlier this year. The addition of BattlEye could be seen as preparations for the arrival of the Gen9 version on PC.

This information comes from multiple devs across two studios.
