Follow W. W. Winter Heritage Trust for great archive images and the latest news on its development project and fundraising 👏
Our building was originally twice its size, the back half being demolished due to the Post Office expansion in the 1960s. These 'lost rooms' included picture galleries, seen here in the 1880s showing typical Victorian styling.

I’ve had numerous conversations around this notably with the leading lights in Creative Entrepreneurs' Club Unless you form a charity or CIC funding is near impossible. If you do then you’re no longer a photographer but will be mired in the bureaucracy of running the ship. I’m a big CEC fan btw
It's important to highlight the important work that current contemporary working class photographers of this generation are showing under difficult circumstances - the struggle is real. Please do look at and celebrate the important work of Joanne Coates and Kirsty Mackay
Now online: Tony Richards engaging and insightful presentation 'Contemporary Wet Plate Collodion Photography.'
Including his work on hit TV dramas and documentaries.
