At ROCSYS we believe autonomous cars aren't fully autonomous if they still have to be charged manually. At our lab in Delft we are constantly adapting and tweaking the ROCSYS solutions to fit any charging need, and we are well under way to enable the future of autonomous driving.

The reason ROCSYS charging automation works so well is because of the set of ‘brains’ behind it. High performance algorithms enable the robot to work in low-light conditions, with overexposure, rain, bright sunlight and on any vehicle.

If charging ports were languages, the ROCSYS robot would be considered a polyglot. From the CCS connection used in commercial electric vehicles to the Euro-DIN connection used in smaller applications, we automate any standard, whichever language your vehicle understands.

How do robots navigate? Using computer vision, a self-driving vehicle can identify aspects of the road ahead and plan its moves. Similarly for a ROCSYS robot, computer vision is acting as its eyes, but trained to look for a vehicle inlet and determine its exact orientation.
