Three years ago today, our brother was taken from us while doing his job. Officer Anthony Mazurkiewicz was murdered in the line of duty on July 21, 2022. Maz lived as a hero to his family and friends, and died as a hero to Rochester.

This is the 4th time the same person has been arrested for DWI. After his 3rd arrest, he received a conditional discharge. This time, he killed an innocent man. Do NYS laws make you feel safe?

We extend our deepest sympathies to our brothers and sisters in the City.

This guy killed a man in 2010. Earlier this year, he was released on parole. Last night, he ran a red light and hit a police car, then fled the scene. He was located, and issued an appearance ticket. Do NYS laws make you feel safe?

Statement from the Rochester Police Locust Club regarding recent comments by Rochester City Council members.

The investigation by the Attorney General's office is an independent investigation. The body camera footage was released for transparency. PAB is desperate for relevance and authority, but has neither.

A critical incident occurred tonight on Weyl St. in the northeast part of the City, requiring one of our members to fire his service weapon. We can report that all of our members involved are uninjured. More details will be provided as the case progresses. #ROC

While on a call, these cops found themselves in the middle of an unrelated gun fight between 2 other people. Police ended the threat. Police saved a life. Police gave medical care to the person shot, who thanked & praised the cop who just shot him. Absolutely incredible.

The Locust Club remembers and honors the victims and heroes of the 9/11 attack on America. Their families are in our thoughts. We will never forget.

The lack of a proper & immediate remedy by RCSD is disappointing. Public employees are being forced to sue in order to receive their rightful pay. It's unfortunate that a lawsuit is necessary. The Locust Club supports the RTA in this action.

The suspect chose his actions, and his unfortunate decision forced the response from our officers. Our officers performed their duties courageously. The Locust Club proudly supports these officers and their actions.

A family choosing to assault police is disgusting and unacceptable. Release with non-monetary conditions for people who assault police is ridiculous. It's unfortunate that City leaders don't think either topic is important enough to address. Our officer is recovering.

Another unacceptable assault on police. Let's see if City leadership holds a press conference to condemn this violence.

Perhaps some officers who currently work in other jurisdictions in New York State will want to transfer to RPD.
