Reflecting on the angst of families calling for maternity investigations (eg Oxford, Leeds and Sussex) & the missed opportunity we had to make establishing such investigations much much easier had recommendations 44 of the Morecambe Bay Investigation (2015) been implemented. 😞

I remember that the ‘Positive Birth Movement’ group I attended while pregnant with my eldest encouraged avoiding vitamin K injections & recommended vaginal swabs rubbed on babies’ faces to support the microbiome after a caesarean 😧
