Yesterday at SHOWBUS 50 with our Volvo B8 MCV Evora Single Decker and our Bedford VAL 70. We are delighted to have won the award for best Modern bus, received by our Operations Manager Chris and Service Driver Mark for our Volvo B8 which was new to us in March this year 🚌

With Highland Council having set up their own in-house bus operation, I decided to sample new route 302 between Inverness and Foyers. Not the sort of place you’d expect to see a less than week old, Volvo B8RLE! Lovely run, and friendly driver, too.

Back in September 2022, Safeguard Buses Guildford took delivery of a pair of incredibly smart new MCV BUS & COACH Evora bodied Volvo Bus UK & Ireland B8RLE's. Caught in a brief spell of sun between light showers, BV72KOD was snapped passing Guildford Station last week on service 4.

Now the main event of today. This week saw @SandersCoaches introduce three MCV Evoseti’s on a Volvo B8L chassis. The first standard BOC to do so (excluding tourist routes) in the UK. Very nice vehicle indeed - 127 or “Erin Daisy” sees me all the way through to Norwich on an X44.
