With an hour left at the RLHS College Fair the parking lot is packed outside! But inside the RLHS Class of 2023 are having amazing conversations and even completing on site applications! The energy today has been incredible.

Our College of Lake County navigator Carolina Rodriguez is hosting a College Application Drive tomorrow 9/13 and another one on Thursday 9/23. Any RLHS Senior who hasn't completed their application can come down to the RLHS Library during their lunch, free or study hall period and apply!

Class of 2023: Check your email information about FAFSA Fest 2022 has been sent out. Please make sure you register for a time spot so you can attend and get that FAFSA completed on October 14th, 2022 between 3:30pm - 9:30pm!

November is College & Career month at RLHS and this year we are hosting multiple events to celebrate the month! Students have the opportunity to participate in panels with alumni, different tradesmen, first responders and the military. Plus so many other events this month!

Last week a group of RLHS Seniors were able to tour the Elmhurst U campus and hear from the admissions team Elmhurst University. Today a group of RLHS Seniors were able to tour NIU - NIU Admissions and hear from their admissions team! What a fun start to our College and Career Month!

On Friday RLHS hosted an alumni panel with former Panthers! Two of our panelist work for the district now & one supports our H.S students with FAFSA completion! The rest of our panelists are in college or are out in the world making RLHS proud! Once a Panther, Always a Panther!

RLHS students were able to hear about the incredible apprenticeship opportunities from Roofers Local 11, IBEW 150 Electrical Union & the IAMAW Local 701 during the RLHS Trades Panel today. Thank you to our panelists for your time & the information you've provided our Panthers!

Thank you to the wonderful panelists from multiple military branches for speaking about your journey's into the military & answering our students questions. You don't need to wait for next November to think about your post RLHS plans! Your counselors are always here for support!

Last week the RLHS Counseling Department hosted a freshman support dinner. Students and families had amazing conversations with our Panther Crew members throughout the evening and walked away with valuable supports. Thank you to everyone who participated in the event!

Junior Future Planning Night is tonight! Juniors & their families are invited to RLHS between 5pm-8pm. Presentations about College, the Trades & College Athletics will take place between 5pm-7pm The College and Career Fair will take place in the main gym between 6pm-8pm!

What an amazing turnout for the RLHS Freshman Orientation! Our Class of 2027 started the day out with a performance from our marching band then got to hear from our principal & alumnus Brian Peterson. There is a full day of activities yet to come!

Round Lake Middle School and Magee Middle School were lucky enough to spend time with the inspirational Kane Smego and @PinqyRing. Our students were able to hear the message of hope, growth and inclusivity from these powerful speakers through their words and beats!
