Looking forward to the Lions lunch this Saturday 8th Febuary when we will be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of our World Championship team of 1975 in Australia, we will be celebrating along with the England team of 1975, when we played against each other in Brisbane. ⁦

The room at the Cedar Court in Bradford is looking fantastic ahead of the 2025 RL Lions Association’s annual reunion lunch sponsored by Ellis Rugby - we’re looking to welcoming over 400 guests, inc some of the greatest RL players of all time, to what is always a brilliant event.

We were privileged to host the Rugby League Lions Association's 2025 reunion lunch on Saturday when over 400 people celebrated some of the greatest players in the sport's history. Generously sponsored by Ellis Rugby and supported by Rugby Football League, the event was a truly special occasion.

So saddened that my great friend and old teammate at Widnes Dougie Laughton has passed away,Dougie was a great forward & was in the GB team that won the ashes in Australia in 1970 it was Dougie and I that travelled down to S Wales to sign Jonathan Davies in 1989. ⁦RL Cares⁩
