I think it’s prudent to plan for rail. With that said, this doesn’t mean anything actually gets built.

If this is a high speed rail between Edmonton and Calgary, I’d be happy. I understand the past business cases regarding this, but I think it’s one of those things that, once built, would seem indispensable.

I haven’t been watching Calgary’s mass rezoning public hearing but I’m guessing there is a bit of the same age polarization that we saw in Edmonton.
