#OTD August 30, 1979, Cindy Miller, a news reporter for Rhode Island PBS, interviewed customers of Misquamicut's newest summertime attraction-- Water Wizz-- the state's largest water slide. It was dismantled in 2021. Watch the video here, from the Rhode Island Historical Society video archives.
