With less than a week until freshers, it's time to meet your committee! Over the next few we will be introducing you to the team who will be looking after Royal Holloway Fencing Club this year and organising some incredible competitions, socials, charity events and more!

First is our president, Zak. 'Fencing has something for everyone, even if you don’t usually like sport!... so come along to one of our taster sessions or just turn up on our club nights and give it a go for free!'

Today we meet our secretary, Toby. 'Joined for the good company, stayed for the Happy Man discount.

Here is our treasurer Phoebe! ‘I’m really excited for all the socials planned next year - its gonna be a blast’

Now it's time for our captain's! Here is our women's captain, Harriet. 'I’m excited to meet all the new freshers as well as smashing the competition with the women’s team 😉'

Dan will be our men's captain for 2019/2020. 'I'm excited for this years BUCS Matches and other Team competitions.'

Today we introduce our social secretary, Molly. 'I’m excited for all the great socials I have planned (obviously!). But really, it’s the Women’s Development Team I’m most excited about.'

Here is our Armourer Alex. 'I've spent the last few years growing together with not only the people who were there but the people who have joined in the years since. For me I'm most excited for seeing all my friends once again and seeing all of you considering joining too!'

Now it's my turn, my name is Felix and I'll be your social media officer! 'I joined the fencing club to meet more people in my first year and give fencing another go after giving it up for a year... The club is one of the most welcoming environments I've ever come across!'
