The following schools are currently in hold & secure due to a situation in the community unrelated to the schools: J. L. Ilsley High School Elizabeth Sutherland Herring Cove Jr High William King School Rockingstone Heights Families have been notified.

There is a police presence in the area of Herring Cove Road and Greystone Drive in Halifax. We ask the public to avoid the general area of these streets to allow officers to conduct the investigation. bit.ly/3ZfYvj2

The boil advisory continues today. Students do have access to bottled water at school for drinking. The tap water is safe for hand washing and flushing.

Rockingstone Families, For Jan 29, Rockingstone is open today, but will close early.  This means: Bus students: picked up starting at 12:50 (2h earlier than reg dismissal). Non-bused students: dismissed at our regularly scheduled lunch at 12pm. After school YMCA is canceled.
