This morning, the RGP Control Room received a distress call from a vessel one mile south off Europa Point, which was in trouble due to the fog. RGP and GDP marine assets on patrol deployed to the area, located the vessel, and escorted it back to safety. Great teamwork.

Whilst conducting Op DriveSafe operations yesterday, Response Team 3 officers issued Fixed Penalty Notices to a total of 4 motorists at Line Wall Road and a further 13 at Kingsway Tunnel for exceeding the speed limit, including one motorist travelling at 81km/h.
