Today the Royal Norwegian Navy hosted combat training in anticipation for their Peacekeeping deployment in Mongolia.

Today servicemen in the Royal Norwegian Navy participated in RHIB deployment and extraction training. This is in part of the development of the Navy's preparedness.

Recently, The King of the United Kingdom arrived at the Kaarviknes Naval Base to inspect both the base and the Royal Norwegian Navy! We are very proud as this state visit brings our nations closer together, we hope to be working with you in the future.

🪖Today the Royal Norwegian Navy has conducted live firing exercises of all their armaments aboard HNoMS Berg inside of the deployment area of Kårviknes.🪖

This evening the Royal Norwegian Navy was🔎 inspected🔍 by His Majesty the King. This inspection marks the finish of Operation Vortextor and a push into the future.

In co-operation with the Royal Household, the ⛴️ KNM Fridtjof Nansen held the visiting Dignitaries from the 🇬🇧. The tour included an inspection of the ship's crew, then a tour around the Kårviknes islands and our colleagues in the Royal Norwegian Air Force performed a flyby over the ship! 🇳🇴🇬🇧

At the discretion of the government and the King, the Royal Norwegian Navy has been put on high alert. Naval personnel have been mobilised and are currently sailing out into the North Atlantic ocean. Alt for Norge!

🪖OPERASJONSSTORM🪖 Today the Sjøforsvaret, accompanied by Norwegian special forces conducted Operation Storm. The operation included thwarting off naval attacks from both large and small crafts, after naval crews attempted to recapture an island in the region. ALT FOR NORGE 🇳🇴
