🇬🇧 A ceremony was held at RAF St Mawgan today as part of the Armed Forces Day 🇬🇧 2023 flag relay.

Newquay town mayor, Cllr Margaret North, attended and thanked the Armed Forces community for their service.

The next flag relay event will take place in Penzance on Monday, June 12.

As #NoMowMay draws to a close Station is looking a little different to usual. Hopefully the bees which call our Station hives home have been making the most of the extra pollen!

Congratulations to Warrant Officer Murugesvaran ‘Subby’ Subramaniam, who has been appointed as Warrant Officer of the Royal Air Force in succession to Warrant Officer Jake Alpert.

Defence Secretary Ben Wallace has confirmed that Air Marshal Sir Richard Knighton KCB FREng is to be appointed as Chief of the Air Staff and Aide-de-Camp to His Majesty, in the rank of Air Chief Marshal, in June 2023.
