Today students learned four hose rolls. How to roll them and how to deploy them. Our class is divided into four Engine companies. Each company has four members. Tomorrow pics will be more hose rolling pics a post from each company.

Today the Fire And EMT class set up a booth at Levi Coffin Days. We did some education using some of our new equipment. Choking trainer, cpr trainer, personal thermal imagers. We had a great time with drrssing kids in turnout gear and putting temporary tatoos on them.

Today students got to feel the heat and face live fire. Thanks to RFD Engine 4, Chris Chappel, Brent Purcell, and Charlie Schroeder for helping us out today.

For the next 12 weeks the fire and EMT classes will use a little class time to focus on the core values of the fire and EMS services.

On Friday the class got to experience a level A haz mat suit. Practiced donning and doffing as well as preforming some tasks while in the suit.
